Ballet Curriculum

In addition to Ballet Technique, Pointe, Classic Variations and Partnering, and Classic Repertoire classes, the Ballet Curriculum offers the following classes:

Social Historical Dance (Court and Social Dances of the centuries).
Character Dance (Theatrical Dances of nations).
These classes enrich the aspiring dancer with a sense of style.

The aspiring dancer will have plenty of opportunities to perform, appropriate to his or her advancement.

The Ballet Teachers and Coaches are the best in the ballet world!
The aspiring dancer is offered Artistic Supervision!

Learning to play a Keyboard Instrument.

The classroom for these beautiful subjects is historic St. Petersburg:

Theatres  |  Mariinsky, home of the Mariinsky Ballet  |  Hermitage Theatre, in the grand palace setting  |  Yusupov Palace's miniature Rococo Theatre,  etc.

Concert Halls  |  Shostakovich (Large) Philharmonic Hall  |  Glinka (Small) Philharmonic Chamber Hall  |  Children's Philharmonic Hall, etc.

Academies  |  Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, where Tchaikovsky graduated,  etc.

Palaces  |  Peterhof, the luxurious royal estate of Peter the Great  |  Pushkin, the splendid Catherine Palace of the Tsars,  etc.

Museums  |  Hermitage, the foremost of St. Petersburg's 125 museums.

Libraries  |  Theatre Library, holds priceless records of ballet history,  etc.

Lecturers are Artists, Professors and Historians of Art, Music and Ballet.

The aspiring dancer will be attending performances of the Mariinsky Ballet, at the Mariinsky Theatre, and other ballet performances, and concerts.

All expects of the Ballet Curriculum will be presented in such a way that makes each element and the entirety of the experience, genuine, thus helping the aspiring dancer develop his or her fullest potential!

When, and as it is appropriate,
we guide and assist the aspiring dancer, in his or her pursuit,
to join a ballet company, worthy of his or her talent!
