Dear Perspective Donor:

St. Petersburg Ballet Society is turning to you to be instrumental in preserving the legacy of Leonid Jacobson, the choreographic genius of ballet history.

By being a Donor of Jacobson100
The Centennial Celebration you will assure the survival of the life's work of this extraordinary individual.

As his centennial year is rapidly coming to a close, it is essential that we consolidate all aspects of his revolutionary achievements.

It is in a sense, a race against time, to contact his contemporaries, colleagues, dancers, associates and the wider public, in St. Petersburg, Moscow, all of Russia, and the rest of the world, before it is too late.

In practice, we collect all records of his life and career, including film, photos, audio musical and choreographic notes, costume and set designs, articles, correspondence, and various memorabilia.

Our mission is to collect, restore, preserve, catalogue, publish, exhibit and/or present the full range of Leonid Jacobson's genius.

Informally, in the last six months we have made successful headway, unearthing material that was previously thought to be destroyed. We will be happy to demonstrate to you some of the fruit of our labor.

We have inspired experts in St. Petersburg and Moscow ready to launch into detailed research in all aspects of his life and career.

Please, urge your friends and associates to contribute to this worthy endeavor.

Your generous gift of $5,000, $10,000 or $15,000 will make you a
Donor
of this worthy project,
