Nurturing the Best in Ballet

FOUNDATION GRANTS
Foundations committed to nurturing talented young people and sustaining the vibrancy of America's cultural life provide gifts and grants that support St. Petersburg Ballet Society's distinguished artistic programs.
 

In addition to essential general operating support, foundations may consider to choose to direct their contributions to specific projects, described below.

Scholarship Program providing financial aid to students, to ensure all gifted students to be able to receive ballet training.

Minority Scholarship Program, providing financial aid to students of color.

Boys Program, providing tuition-free ballet training for boys aged 8 to 14 to increase the number of well-trained American male ballet dancers.

Academic Education Scholarships, providing subsidies for teenaged students' academic studies.

.
 

Pointe Shoe Fund, subsidizing the high cost of pointe shoes for the Academy's female students.

.
 

Weight Training Program, helping intermediate and advanced men increase strength and prevent injury during partnering.

Wellness Program, helping keep young dancers physically fit and healthy with physical therapy, and nutrition counseling.

Student Social and Cultural Programs, providing a wide range of programs and services to support the personal and professional growth of the Academy's boarding students.
